North Hudson Community Action will be at the Kennedy Branch on Monday, June 5, 2017 to provide free vaccinations to North Bergen residents.

VACCINES:

Hep B, Hep A, MMR, Zostavax (aged 60 and over), Tdap, HPV (Ages 19-26), Pneumovax 23, Prevnar13, Meningococcal, and Varicella.

Eligibility Requirements:
Ages 19-99
Uninsured
Underinsured-current insurance does not cover vaccines
Must be a current resident of North Bergen*
You must provide proof of address (document with address).
Picture Identification

Residents from North Bergen, Union CIty, West New York, Guttenberg, Weehawken and Secaucus may visit any site during the month, for example, if you cannot attend on the day your town is scheduled you may go to another town's site; please bring ID and proof of residency.

Well-Being Wednesdays - Main Library

Join us on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 6:00 pm for an important presentation titled "Living with Alzeihmer's: For Caregivers" presented by the Act Now Foundation - The Alzheimer’s Resource Center of NJ.

FREE memory screenings and memory loss evaluations will be performed from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Bus transportation will be provided from the Kennedy Branch the day of the event. Registration is required for transportation. Please contact the library to put your name on the list. Admission is free and refreshments will be provided.

Becoming a Member of the NBPL

Anyone who lives, goes to school, owns property, or is employed in North Bergen or Guttenberg, is entitled to a library card from the North Bergen Public Library.

A library card will be issued free of charge upon the presentation of two (2) acceptable forms of identification (driver's license, phone/electric bill, lease etc.) with a proof of residency.

A signature of a parent or guardian is required for children. The North Bergen library card will be honored in all Hudson County and BCCLS libraries for North Bergen residents however Guttenberg residents will have borrowing privileges in Hudson County libraries only.
